    Hey guys,

I just got my t500 today and after clean installing it with windows 7 everything runs great.

However, when i look at the battery, it takes REALLLY long to charge to full battery. For example, currently at 88%, it takes 1 Hour and 20 minutes to charge to full capacity.

This doesn't seem normal, anyone know why it's taking that long? Is there some kind of option i can change?

Battery charging is not linear, the last 10 percent in a battery always takes the longest. So that doesn't seem too abnormal. In general, though, rapidly charging a battery causes more degradation than gradual charging, so it may actually help extend your battery life.

This is like packing stuffs into full bags, it is always bit more difficult to pack the last bit of stuff when comparing to pack into an empty bag.

After exhausting the battery I always seem to be ready to either go to bed or need to plug in anyways to game or do something that requires CPU throttling to be turned off. So it doesn't matter to me how long it takes to charge, and the slower charge helping my battery survive longer is a nice plus.
