    Can someone take a picture of the back of their Thinkpad and show me how much exactly the 9-cell battery sticks out in the T500?

    I've tried googling, but couldn't find any.

    I think that is the 6 cell. the 9 cell curves up from what ive seen

    Nope, on the T-500 thats what the 9 cell looks like.

    It is exactly what I'm typing on right now.

    Yup, 6-cell is flush and 9-cell sticks out as indicated by the picture.

    If you mean HDMI, that's DisplayPort on the side, not HDMI.

    Correct. The T400 is the model with the 9 cell that curves upwards. The T500 doesn't because of the bigger chassis.
