    Hi,

I am having a problem with my T500. It has a very slow shutdown (like 5 minutes or more). It hangs at "Logging off..." forever, then finally turns off.

I had this problem in Vista 32-bit, default Lenovo installation. I did a clean install of Windows 7 32-bit, hoping the problem would go away, but no luck.

Also, it seems to only happen if I have put the computer to sleep and then resumed from sleep at least once. Then whenever I try to shutdown it just takes forever.

I have all Windows updates and I use MS Security Essentials, which is also up to date and has scanned my computer. I also run CCleaner regulary to clean up the system.

Only thing I can think that it would be is some service running in the background that isn't stopping properly so the system waits until it times out...

Has anyone else had a similar issue?
