It seems that the T500 is only going to get the LED backlight for WXGA.

Am I mistaken?

"Display
WXGA (1280x800, 98dpi, 185+ nit)
WSXGA+ resolution (1680x1050, 129dpi, 200+ nit)
WXGA w/LED backlight (1280x800, 98dpi, 185+ nit)"
it would seem you are correct... -
It should be WXGA+ (1440x900).

WXGA (1280x800, 98dpi, 185+ nit)
WSXGA+ resolution (1680x1050, 129dpi, 200+ nit)
WXGA w/LED backlight (1280x800, 98dpi, 185+ nit)
Yes, but...
Look at how many nits is the WSXGA+ resolution. It's 200+, wich is the same that the T400 LED screens have. Considering how many typo's Lenovo has had on the specs durng the T series release, I guess it could e one too. So the LED could either actually be WSXGA+ or the nits on the WSXGA+ reso are a typo... -
LED won't get a WSXGA+ res any time soon, don't hope for it.
