    hey guys,

does T500 support the logitech G51 speaker set system?

under the system requirements it says
" PC or Mac with at least 6-channel sound capability (for discrete surround sound) "

    thanks,

The T500 uses the pm45 chipset which I think uses Conexant High Definition Audio, it supports 2-channel analog output, 5.1-channel digital SPDIF output, stereo microphone inputs, and audio jack retasking. The audio also supports audio formats ranging from CD quality (16-bit, 44.1 kHz) to DVD-Audio (24 bit, 192 kHz). LInky :)

Hi, and welcome to the forums :)

Yes, it will work, but you won't get true surround sound. The T500 only has one headphone out jack and the logitech G51 has 3 branches, a green (front), a black (rear) and an orange (center/sub). You can just plug in the green to your laptop and set your speakers to matrix mode to get the audio play through all the speakers, but again, it's not true surround sound.
