I have a T500 that I just did a clean OS install on, and I'm now having issues with video playback.

When I play videos through iTunes, playback is very choppy - audio and video both skip constantly. I've tried opening the same video in VLC, and the audio seems fine, but the video is entirely black. This particular video file works fine on other computers, in both iTunes and VLC.

Like I said, I did a clean OS install of Windows 7 64 Ultimate, installed all Windows Updates, and installed all possible drivers/updates from Lenovo System Update. I did not have these issues previously.

I did, however, encounter an issue with Lenovo System Update - it froze during updates/installation and I have not been able to successfully launch System Update since. It shows the splash screen when loading, but nothing after that. I would really hate to start over with the install and risk having the same thing happen again.

    System specs:
    2.8ghz Core 2 Duo (T9600)
    8gb RAM
    120gb SSD
AMD Switchable Graphics - set to Discrete Only in BIOS

I would appreciate any help on this - thanks!
