My Thinkpad T500 comes with an Intel WiFi Link 5300 (AGN) card. Every time I start using the newtork, it takes a while (10s of seconds) to response. If I keep using it, it response.

For example, when I keep jumping from one web page to another one, it is fast. If I spend 10 minutes read a long article, and then click the next page, it takes 20 seconds to response. Its' really annoying.

    Any advices?

Try disabling power saving on the NIC. Some access points implement this poorly.
