    T500 Windows 8, missing a few drivers

    Hi all

    I recently installed Windows 8 Pro on my ThinkPad T500.
    It runs pretty well, but I have a few missing drivers in Device Manager.
    First one is "PCI simple Communications Controller".
    Second one is "Ericsson F3507g Mobile broadband Minicard Composite Device"

    The first one, I suspect is the Intel AMT. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a Windows 8 driver for this device.
    Second one is not necessary for me, but I just hate missing device drivers on my systems.

    I run windows 8 Pro 64-bit.

    If anyone could help me obtaining these drivers, it would be very much appreciated.

    Am I the only one trying Windows 8 on a T500?

    I still have not found the missing drivers. The computer seems to run pretty well without them, but still, it would be nice with some updated drivers or tips to get the devices properly recognized.

    Any help appreciated, thanx.

    The Windows 8 Beta Drivers page doesn't mention T500 anywhere, but I tried downloading and installing the Intel drivers anyway. But each time, I get an error during installation telling me "Your computer doesn't meet minimum requirements".
    Probably why they don't mention T500 anywhere on the Beta page :)
    The tip for the Ericsson driver worked like a charm.
    THANK YOU very much. I will keep digging for the Intel AMT as I have already installed the Ricoh drivers.

    Glad you got the Ericsson driver working :)
    Now for the Intel AMT.
    There is a french site Station Drivers and they list almost all the drivers there are.
    They have an Intel Active Management Technology Driver Version 8.1.0.1281 for Windows 8 almost at the bottom of their page: intel drivers pour chipsets
    Let's hope that is the last missing driver...
