    T500 boot up nonsense. Help!

    Hi, the irony!

    I just got a ssd, works great, but cant enjoy boot up speed cos theres some lengthy bios cr*p that displays before the boot up which in turn adds another 20secs to make it 40secs to boot up.
    So for the love of anything you can find worthy...pls help me get rid of this ugly jargon that eats my screen n boot time by 20secs.

    Go into your BIOS setup and disable Intel AMT. That should remove those screens, I think. I don't remember the exact menu options, and I'm on campus using my X120e at the moment, but it should be relatively straightforward.

    Excellent!! thanks...i got rid of the boot agent pxe errror screen too..apparently you have to exclude pci lan thingy out of boot order and network boot. :D
