I've been trying to do a clean install of vista on my t500 and I always do a zero fill before each re-install. Every time I try loading up the hitachi drive maintenance software or other zero fill tools like darik's boot n nuke it just hangs there, I tried disabling the intel security chip but it doesn't help either, any1 know wuts going on?

Also, Darkin's Boot Nuke utility requires you to use the newer version 2.0 Beta with the current Intel processors as the kernel used in the old version has compatibility issues and will not work.
