    T500 display filckering on start up?

    Hi,

    I installed Vista Business x64 immediately after I got my T500. But there is an annoying problem now after I changed the display settings such as brightness and contrast. Every time when I log in after it starts up. the custom settings only take effect after the ATI control center program kicks in which takes about 10 seconds(slow........). so it basically goes like default settings -> black-->custom settings. Is this normal for a T500? Also, how come it cannot remember the setting I made with Fn+brightness?

    My T500 does the same thing. Turns black, flickers and then desktop. Then the ATI adjustments take effect, which can be seen when the desktop colors change in response to my modified ATI Color brightness adjustments.
