    Does the T500 have the ability to carry two hard drives with the removal of the optical drive bay?

    Go to the Dell forum and check out the sticky for the Lenovo part number of the optical disk 2.5" hard drive caddy. Dell's caddy only fits 1.8", but someone figured out that the Lenovo's is the same size as the Dell's and supports 2.5"...

    Yes, it can, but does not support RAID if that's what you're interested in.
