    T500 keeps switching to stand by regardless of power settings off!!! Annoyed. Pls Help

    Hi folks!

    Doesn't matter whether its running on A/C alone or Battery or both...the bloody thing is getting on my nerves.
    Yes everything is switched to off in power settings so i get no interuptions to my work flow....

    I can't think of anything i have done lately to make it act this way...Except...running the battery down flat 2 times in the last 2 weeks because i forgot to plug a/c in...which i always have plugged in.


    pls suggestions... :(

    Have you looked at the AC connection? Maybe its getting loose and its not getting a charge? Therefore the laptop thinks its on battery all the time.

    thanks for your help,
    i have just switched it on since i posted the msg...and it hasn't turned off yet... good 15 min..according to lights, everything is charging...but if it does play up, i will keep an eye out for that.
