    T500 lan and wifi problems.

    this started when i did a clean install. everything else is fine now, just can't get over this hurdle.

    the wifi is dropping frequently just like everyone else.

    i have installed the thinkvantage update or whatever it's called and install everything necessary.

    the wifi is still not working so i trying to connect the computer right to my modem, and lo and behold, it doesn't work at all. while my other computers can connect perfectly.

    since i now this problem has been here for a while, did anyone come up with a fix?

    i have the most updated driver and the pro Lan1000 utility.

    I dont really know how to help you but... just making sure. When you plug a new device right into your modem you have to power cycle the modem for it to work.
