Sometimes when I shutdown my T500, after the screen has gone dark I will get a series of beeps. I think it's 1 beep then 3 beeps then 3 beeps again.

I am running Vista with all the latest patches.

Why does my machine do this and how do I make it stop, i.e. fix it?

    Thanks for reading

I think there's a setting in Power Manager to change this, and I think there may be one in the BIOS as well. Not positive, though.
