    Hi all!

I noticed that my T500 vent has a missing spoke that broke off. The one next to it is bent in. I have attached a picture of the damage

It hasn't affected anything, but what I fear is it will only become more damaged over time, so if any of you have any thoughts on fixing it or if you don't think it will get worse, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance!

If it's still under warranty I would certainly look into getting it fixed. A larger piece of debris may stick to and block the vent.

If you're relatively careful with it, I don't imagine it getting any worse. If you're putting it in a bag or backpack, I would recommend getting a neoprene notebook sleeve to put it in, so as to avoid small debris from getting stuck in the vent.

What caused that damage in the first place, though?

something hard must have broke off the grill on the vent and bent the heat sink vent. This is not covered under warranty, as the damage is user caused.
