    T500 vs. W500 when it comes to gaming...

    I know they're both not meant to be gaming rigs, however, I'm still curious how they compare in this regard.
    Afaik the T500 has a Radeon 3650 with 256mb ram, while the W500 has a FireGl 5700 which is just like the 3650 only with 512mb ram.

    So, do those extra 256mb really make a difference, are there other factors involved?
    Does anybody here have any experience when it comes to games preformance with these two laptops?

    I don't know about the gaming...but I know that in 3dmark06, T500 score about 200 or 300 higher than w500, someone in this forum post it before.

    There is no difference. Memory doesn't really have an effect since the 128-bit bus width limits the amount memory that video card can use. Get the cheaper of the two laptops.
