The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    T500 with LED backlight....any news?

    The only thing holding back my order is the availability of the LED backlight screen on the T500. Has anyone heard anything about timing? I'm assuming that if it was only a few weeks, it would be an option with a backorder.

    I don't see any LED backlit panels for T500 in the Personal Systems Reference here. Not sure that's the definitive word, but it doesn't seem promising for seeing them soon.
