    Hi,

After a re-install of the Lenovo Vista system on my T500 the mouse pad isnt quite right. For example, I used to be able to scroll continuously just be doing a fast scroll-motion on the pad. This isnt working amongst other things.

This is now a fully opdated system, so I wonder why there is a difference in the defaults - compared to the system (which I also didnt change anything in) I had before the re-install.

Any explanation? Am I missing some ThinkVantage mouase-pad feature perhaps?

Did you install the Lenovo drivers for the mouse pad?

Have you checked the touchpad options (under Control Panel, Mouse)?

Well I havent installed any drivers as such. I have re-created my installation as it were when I got the laptop. All ohter things seems installed fine. And this includes Lenovo specific (ThinkVantage) drivers and applications.

There are no options in the "mouse" settings in control panel that could relate to my problem unfortunately.

What do you mean? You used a recovery partition? Disk image? Backup software?

Then it must not be installed properly because there are like 10 different categories of customization just for the touchpad.

My bad, this isnt clear I see - I used the ThinkVantage Product Recovery Media option on a new harddrive.

Ahhh, I missed that there where a "settings" button on the UltraNav tab. This is excellent. Thanks all for your replies.
