    Hi,

Well, normally I would just go for it, but within the recommended update I find also a BIOS update.

I know its under "recommended" - but is it really recommended to update a list of perhaps 30 items - one of them being a BIOS update?

I wouldn't do BIOS unless theres something in it that is critical to update. A bad bios update can brick your system.

Dear Fellow Danish T500 Owner --

Allow me to present a contradictory opinion. I have owned my T500 for 2 months and a T61p for about a year and I run all recommended Windows and Lenovo updates when they are available, including the 3 or 4 BIOS updates recommended by Lenovo for the T61p and the BIOS update for the T500. Both of my systems run flawlessly, the only program the ever crashes is Firefox, and I have never seen a BSOD.
