    T500-W500 Audio

    I am taking some online courses in the fall, and I am debating between a T500, and a W500. I am trying to find out what system has the best audio, (with the built in speakers). I know the speakers are on the side Of the keyboard on the T500 but I can not seem to find the location on the
    the W500.

    The speakers on the W500 are located at the 'top' of the keyboard in their own row above the power button. The audio performance is probably exactly the same as the T500. If you really want 'quality' speakers though, you'll get your own set to go with the laptop.

    if you want good audio get a consumer laptop like the ideapad y650. business laptops generally have poor speaker quality.

    The T500 and W500 have the exact same chassis, meaning that on both machines, the speakers are above the keyboard area. On the T400, they are on the sides.

    As a whole, laptops have poor audio performance. You should just get a good 2.1 exteral set of speakers.
