Hi,
I purchased a T510 after consulting with you guys (thanks). I did a clean install of Windows 7 pro 64bit on an Intel X25M Postville (80GB), so it's not the Lenovo preload. I used System Update to get everything though. I use a Seagate Momentus 7200.4 (320GB) in the Ultrabay.
Now when I wake up from standby...
1) I get an error saying that the Seagate cannot be disabled/ejected (German Windows says "Fehler beim Abdocken", don't know the official English wording for this). This is the exact message I get when I try to safely remove the when it's still in use.
2) Windows loses the color calibration.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve these? I googled already but didn't find useful information...
Thanks in advance.
When problems are solved I'm more than happy to take pictures and tell you more about the machine (I intend to write a review).

I am having exactly the same problem - brand new T510, Win7 x64 Pro. I have replaced the internal HDD with an Intel X24-M 160G SSD and put the original 320G HDD in the UltraBay (adapter bought directly from Lenovo).
I flashed to the latest BIOS and reinstalled Win7 using ThinkVantage System Update to retrieve all the drivers. The laptop is working flwalessly except that it tries to "eject" the HDD when it wakes / resumes from sleep. More worryingly it also decided it needed to run chkdsk the last time I used sleep.
It would be great if anyone has some insight into this as it is preventing me making full use of my new "Rip-N-Go" docking station!

In the meantime, I've found one thing in a forum somewhere:
Turning off the indexing on the ultrabay HDD seems to have helped, maybe you can give it a try. I don't know about how much performance you lose though.
Also I realized I didn't have the latest BIOS. Maybe updating that helped as well?
