I have a strange problem with my T510 wireless card 6200-N. The network adapter keeps turn off itself, Even when I was downloading something(seems not power saving feature). The icon on taskbar become "No connection available" and The wireless green light turns off. I tried many combinations of software. I tried uninstalling the Access Connection, the intel PRO wireless software and the power saving modes. No help.

I found it more frequent when I was downloading stuff. After it turns off itself, Fn+F5's button becomes useless. I have to go to the control panel's network adapter's setting to disable and then enable it to get it working again.

Anyone else had this problem before?
    Any solutions for it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks mythos1453.

I am trying this scheme: No Access Connection, Disable AMT in BIOS, No Intel PRO tools, and newest driver of wireless card.

I will try and report in some days.

There was a thread about this earlier-it seems to be the latest version of Intel's software for the wireless card. You can uninstall it in 'add/remove programs.' I haven't had any problems since uninstalling it.

    Thanks cwarner.

Yes I tried installing a clean Win7 and install the newest Intel PRO tools and no Access Connection today. The problem is still there.

    Will try without new driver.

    Thanks you pshifrin.

Yeah I think it seems to be more frequent after installing the new driver. The new driver is to blame? But actually i remember I have experience the same problem when with old driver.

I notice that the wireless shut down problem on T410/T510 is mostly on Advance-N 6200, at least for a few threads I saw.

    Keep trying.

I rolled back to the older wireless card driver. Seems to be working. :)

It's the Intel software (possibly called PRO tools--i can't remember) that was causing the problem for me. I uninstalled it from the control panel. I guess rolling it back worked for you.

Either way, no reinstall of Windows is necessary!

I'm having the same issues. It only happened randomly during torrenting. Now its happening during gaming. I thought it was the crappy wireless router...I hope disabling this works..

Where can I find an older driver? how do I rollback?
