    Hi All!

I recently bought a new T510 with Windows 7 Pro installed.

    Problem:
The built-in wifi is an Intel Centrino 6200 AGN.There's no problem with finding the router.I can log on just fine.Speed is about 14Mbit/s (BTW it's a 30Mb/s on hard line). Now here comes the thing:after about half a min,the speed drops down seriously, almost to 0.I've tried pinging sites.Several packets timed out, maybe 10 percent.

With Ubuntu 10.04 it goes like wonder.Always about 14Mbit/s,no lags,no problem at all.So it is Win related.

I have removed Lenovo Access Connections,Intel Proset Wireless...whatever bsht.I thought it has to do something with these softwares, but I was wrong. The problem still remains.

I've tried diff. settings for the card in device manager.Enabling/Disabling 802.11n and every other settings, but they work only for half min.

I'm now using an usb wifi adapter.
I hope you can help me!

    Thanks,
    Peter

Do you have 2.4 and 5ghz set to 'Auto' instead of 20mhz?

What transmit power setting are you using? When I was using the lower ones in my 5300, connection was getting dropped all the time, thought it was the router dying.

Download the latest drivers directly from Intel. Lenovo's are typically quite dated.
