First apology for my english, its not my native language. :(

I got my T510 for a while now, lately the screen appears out of focus when I watch a video.

    symptom:
When I watch a video (no matter its on youtube or avi on my local drive) the rest of the screen (the word, pictures) become fuzzy, looks like when a LCD monitor out of focus and try to get a right focus constantly. however, if I send the video to background or minimize it to taskbar, the screen become normal again.

I have reinstall the OS, and the symptom persist.

Any have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Does this happen solely when on battery or either battery or plugged in?

    Thanks.
It's already 1600x900 at 60hz which is the highest I can choose from.

    Thanks.
Happen with both situation, however, you did reminded me something, I did change the power profile to Power saving mode in Vantage Power Manager when I use on battery, and didn't switch back. Now after I switch back to performance mode, the problem sloved.

But I still wondering if everyone else have the same problem when they use power saving mode?

I asked someone who had many Thinkapds, he said the problem is just a software problem caused by NVS 3100 driver and power management. This solved the issue for me.

    1. Click on Control Panel
    2. Click on Hardware and Sound
    3. Click on Power Options
    4. Click on "change plan settings" for the plan in use (i.e.., Energy Star)
    5. Click on "change advanced power settings"
    6. Find and expand "Display" in the tree window that opens
    7. Find and expand "NVIDIA Display Power Saving technology"
    8. Set both "On battery" and "Plugged in" to "Disabled"
