Any discount codes you used to get that price?
-
Yep...just visa perks....
-
We're all not guys.
Renee -
Online or call in? And how did you get the color sensor on the T510?
-
@Renee - Sorry, I know we're not all guys, but I was using it to represent a bunch of people, not a bunch of male humans. It's socially acceptable to use that term, at least where I am. If you felt that I decidedly wanted to exclude you in the conversation because of your lack of twig n' berries, then I apologize
@infinus - I just used visa perks (online)...the color sensor was a standard feature on the unit when I went through the site... -
Wow, I don't get that as an option, and the same configuration through the visa site for me comes up at 1650? What the heck?
-
-
US Site. I see that the Canadian Visa site lists a coupon code, the US site doesn't.
-
I use the US site too, and all I get is the 10%. May I know what is the code that you're talking about?
-
" but I was using it to represent a bunch of people, not a bunch of male humans. It's socially acceptable to use that term, at least where I am. If you felt that I decidedly wanted to exclude you in the conversation because of your lack of twig n' berries, then I apologize "
I appreciate the apology. "Guys", does not represent a bunch of people, it represents male humans. It really does not have any neutrality to it.

This is the one I used....Just copy and paste the code in...Obviously, you have to be in Canada...so basically, all the prices are cut 10% when you are pricing things out already...then you enter the code at checkout, and you get another 25% off...It's pretty awesome. -

I'm not your guy, friend!

(ok, i'm done now)
back to topic: yay t510 pricing! -
Have you checked TopSeller models? Those are usually quite reasonable configs and much cheaper than individually configured BTOs. And more available, too.
ps: wilse is right, 'guys'=bunch of young, cool, relaxed ppl, and not just the plural of 'guy' -
If you started the conversation out with "Hey girls"...I'm afraid in this NA culture, (at least in the WA area of USA) you won't get a lot of response due to the population (i'm assuming) that frequents the baords at NBR.
A gender neutral way may be "Hey yall!" at the risk of sounding like a cowboy *grin* which luckily, applies to me -
Or "hey everyone" works too
I am a female and I do not mind.
On the actual topic, could you get 2GB RAM for now and upgrade later? And hard drive can be upgraded as well... unless you don't mind the premium for convenience. Personally, unless you needed a new machine right away I'd hold out a bit longer.
