Is the combo eSATA/USB port on the T510 "Power over eSATA"? Meaning if you have the proper enclosure you can connect to the T510 with just the one cable providing both power for the enclosure and HDD connectivity via eSATA?

    Thanks

yes, eSATA/USB = eSATAp.   the T510 has an eSATAp port.

    Wait a sec..

My T410 has an eSATA port too. Is it also eSATAp?

Or are the T410s and T510s different in that way?

I've used this laptop for 8 months and never knew it had eSATAp capability...!

T410 is only eSATA and not eSATAp

    I'm not sure about T410s and T510s

the T410 eSATA is not a combo eSATA/USB port, which means it is not powered.
