    3100m quicker than 3650 hd?

    No, actually, the Radeon 3650M in the T500 consistently outperforms the NVS 3100M in the T510 by a small margin. The T520's GPU, though, outperforms the 3650M if I remember correctly.

    No the 3100M is a bit slower than the 3650 Mobility.

    I found the T500's GPU to be pretty sufficient for light/mid-end gaming. I know the SB Intel integrated GPU benches the same, but I think the HD3650 holds out a little in raw performance.

    The 3650M performs significantly better than the SB integrated GPU in games, particularly at higher resolutions.

    That's great to hear... kinda makes me feel a bit better about my decision to skip SB and keep what I've got for a few years. It might be just about three years old but my T500 still doesn't fail to impress me. :D

    I only ask because my father is looking for a use thinkpad and he is deciding between a T500 or a T510. I may just give him my T500 and upgrade to the T520.
