    T520 WLAN card in WWAN slot? (de-whitelisted UEFI)

    Ive heard that a WLAN card will work in the WWAN slot of the T420 with the pin 20 trick, but i can't manage the same on my T520. A Broadcom BCM92046mpcie work though! I don't think the BCM is using USB, but im not sure. Will this work? Thanks!

    @KE0ETP BCM92046 is USB Bluetooth module. PCIe is not even wired to that slot, according to schematics.

    @Starlight5 Anywhere from Wifi MitM's (legal, of course, im a sysadmin) to NAT routing when i go to hotels that limit devices.

    @KE0ETP you could put a USB wifi inside using mpcie-usb adapter and attach external antennae but that's a lot of hassle compared to just plugging a dongle.
