    Hey guys,

I am thinking to return my xps 15 and get one of the lenovos , I know the W520 has a throttling issue when on battery.. not sure if it was fixed and if the cpu still gets stuck at 800mhz.. correct me if I am wrong..

Does the T520 has the same issue? when on battery does it use speedboost or it still throttels?

I would assume the T520 would have the same issue. I had the issue and throttlestop fixed it for me.

How did you fix the throttlestop?
A quick fix is just to put the system to sleep and then bring it back up.
