I recently received a Thinkpad R61i and was wanting to upgrade the processor in it. The current processor is an Intel T5250 and I want to put in an Intel T7200 from my old Dell that broke. According to the Intel pages it looks like it should work based on Socket and FSB but I was hoping that someone else could confirm for me before I take both laptops apart.

    T5250 is a Socket P and T7200 is a Socket M so not compatible.
