    Hello!

Sorry for that simply subject, but i have a question about Lenovo keyboard.
It is possible to change by myself lenovo keyboard form non backlit to backlit (i will buy backlit keyboard or something)?

The question is, becouse i have a opportunity to buy a T530 in quite good price, but with the basic buttons.

The second question is about the swap CPU from dual core to quad core (this unit have a NVS5400), it will works?
I mean put out DC, put in QC and voile!? Ofcourse change power brick to bigger.

Its crazy idea, but i make only basic renders and mostly using photoshop and for gaming i have egpu adapter so i no need a quadro.
    Cheers.

    1. the backlit and non-backlit version are intercompatible. So the answer is yes.

    2. Yes as long as it is the same intel cpu type listed in the parts list of the T530.

I am not sure about the 3630qm, but i found this link on google,

    Lenovo ThinkPad T530 2429 - 15.6" - Core i7 3630QM - Windows 8 Pro 64-bit / Windows 7 Pro 64-bit dow / N1E6JUK / Lenovo / Laptops / Computers / Products / Pcideals

t530 with the i7 3630qm, i was told personally that if i decided to upgrade to an i7 in my t430, was to use the 90W power adapter at a minimum when running plugged in, other than that, it didn't require any BIOS flashing, etc. from what i understand as well, it is a socketed CPU, so i guess it is similar to a desktop, plug and play, as far as temperatures, the i7 3612qm ran cooler than the i5 3320M that came stock with the T430. for more detailed instructions look at the sticky in this lenovo forum for hardware maintenance manuals for future reference,

    here is the link
