Hey Guys,
I am wondering if there are some kind of production issues for the T530s? I ordered mine back on Aug. 24 and it has been in production ever since. They keep changing the estimated shipping date. I have tried calling a couple of times and each time I do they tell me a different story. The first time I could barely understand the guy, but I thought he said something about bad parts. The second time they said it shipped today you should get a notice in 24 hours. I checked later that day and they changed the estimated shipping date and no notice so far. I am almost to the point where I am going to cancel my order and go get something else. Especially with all the little issues that I have been reading about with the T530s. I am really not sure this thing is going to be worth the wait.
Sorry for the rant, but my question again is: Does anyone know if there are production issues with this model and should I be worried? Thanks for any help.

shouldn't be delayed that bad... my expected ship day was Sept. 3 -- they pushed it back a week and it ended up shipping on 9/10... disappointed with the quality of my t530 though, so it's going back.
I'd say cancel and re-order -- and use Barnes and Nobles EPP if you decide to stick with a lenovo, it'll save you a few bucks. -
They seem to having delays right now. I had ordered a replacement for my T530 on Aug 30th and still waiting for it to be shipped. The order status is still showing an estimated ship as 13th Sep.
The original machine was delivered in 2 weeks. but it had a ripped apart foam lining near the heat vent and slightly bent heat fins near the edge. I would be leaving the country soon, so I am thinking of cancelling my order if doesn't ship by early next week.
