T60p comes with WWAN, it's an option on the T60

T60p offers 15" UXGA and 15" SXGA flexviews with as low as T2500 processor
    T60 offers only the 15" SXGA+ flexview with a T2700

FireGL 5200, which is the 3D design equivalent of the x1600

The T60p comes standard with a T2500, the T60 with a T2400 or even T2300 without an option for the T2500 on the customized books.

I was confused too as it seems that the T60 could be configured to about the same as the T60p.
Thanks ethyriel for the summary. So basically, the difference comes down to:
the T60p having UXGA and FireGL5200 and some processor differences. Seems the other options can all be configured similarly.
