Will a motherboard from a 14" T60 work with a 15" T60? I'd assume so, since the boards are probably the same. I have a broken 15" T60 (standard aspect ratio) that I'm trying to fix up, and it needs a new board.

I believe they are the same with the 15" T60 using an extender to connect the optical drive.

As far as I can tell, that's what it looks like, regarding the extender.

I can confirm this. There isn't any motherboard difference; just an extender card for the Ultrabay drive and the hard drive.

Great, thanks for the confirmation! I'm going to go ahead and buy that motherboard on eBay I was looking at.

Time to get this rebuilding project started.
