    Hi all,

Each of the three USB ports on my T60 are not working - flash drives don't work, and powered USB devices don't work either. The CD/DVD drive isn't working either....coincidence?

How can I fix the USB drives? must be some kind of software issue?

Will whatever fixes the USB ports also fix the CD/DVD drive?

If I need a new Ultraslim drive, will the new one be plug and play, or do I need software?

    Thanks!!!
    Anna

    What OS did you have?

Have you tried updating your chipset drivers for the USB?

As for the optical drive issues, if you have Vista you can try the upper/lower filters fix or run the MS tool.

Try a Linux disc to see if you can boot from it and if you can boot from it, if the USB ports are working. That will tell you whether it's a hardware or software issue.
