Can one of you set the power scheme to max battery running. Pull the AC and use the power manager's battery info to tell me the min wattage you see used idling?

GMA folks only please too. I'm looking for the min power used. If you can include what CPU it is and what it is set to on max battery (you can find that out my right clicking my computer).

    Thanks!

Edit: set it to max battery, turn the LCD brightness all the way down, turn off the wireless with the switch.

Oh yeah mine is about 12.5 W min CPU is 1 GHz min it seems. But this is a T60 WS with ATi. I assume the 14" will do better, everyone says it has better battery life, but this should show how much. (it will just be the ratio of the two min wattages)

I can do this if you want, I have a 14.1" T60 with a t2500 and the x1300. I have Vista (if it matters)

Just let me know I'll be up for a little bit longer.

Go ahead and do it. I'm interested in the results with lowest settings on an Intel GMA.

That's my screen....if you have any other questions regarding specs let me know!

    It's odd how the time-left fluctuates :/

EDIT: I think that may be at full throttle--I need to figure Vista out a little more :)

17.96W? I don't think the laptop is running at minimum settings...

Ah yeah that's high. It should be less than mine if it is 14.1" turn the screen brightness all the way down. Turn off the wireless switch. Make sure the power scheme you are running sets the CPU to "Lowest" That will give you the min wattage.
