I have to decide my order for the T60 2623-KFU today. I am very much concerned about its screen (14.1" SXGA+). Pls kindly give me some comment on it, particularly with regard to the following issues:

    - Brighteness?
    - True color?
    - Sharpness?

It seems that there is no Wide screen for 14.1''?

    Thank for info.

I have the SXGA+ r60 which uses the same panel. It is pretty dim on the lowest setting and fairly bright on the highest, but it is never going to be as bright as glossy screen. My screen is good as compared to something like the Dell D620 or HP nx6325 both of which I have seen recently. It has minimal leakage and no dead/stuck pixels. Viewing angles are narrow as expected, but if you are relatively on center, it looks good. I suppose it will on what you are doing. If the screen is very important, you should look at the FlexView.

I have a T60 and I would have to give the screen a thumbs down. I don't like it.

The viewing angles are poor and the colors aren't vibrant. I was pretty disappointed with it. I have the SXGA+ the only good thing about it is the resolution.
