T60 2623D3U without the EVDO?

Hi all,

I was about the pull the trigger on a T60 today. A 2623D3U specifically.

I say about to because I realized that it came with the CDMA 1x EVDO modem built into it. I have no need for this modem and will be somewhere where it's useless. I'm sure this is a pricey addition.

I want a T60 in this configuration without the EVDO modem. Is this possible? I can not find a way on the site to configure any T60 model this way.

If I have to get it, is it possible to remove it from the machine and sell it off? I'm hoping it's a card that's removable from somewhere with minimal surgery.

If I do have to get it, and I can't sell it off, anyone know if it'll work in Cairo?

I can't find that one on the Lenovo site. Do I have to ask for it on the phone?

I'm assuming that the 2613EKU has the Flexview, yes?
