    T60 = worst laptop i've ever own

    After Lenovo repaired 4 quality problems... now it won't boot with two beep saying "Fan Error". Just great, technician saying they are having problems with T60... WTF? Uhh... perhaps Lenovo is falling behind other major manufacturers. Just an advice, stay away from T60.

    Not that I don't believe you, I do, I'm just surprised, they have received good ratings so far as Lenovo.

    Are there many failure reports like this on Lenovo?

    Sounds like your fan is unplugged. Take off your keyboard and check the electrical connection on the motherboard.
