If you plug another screen into the monitor port on the T60 can you set it up to do dual screen. Or is it either the external or built in, do you have to choose one? And does the same go for the dock, more importantly the DVI port on the dock?

Ok, I was going to say that you should be able to set it up in dual screen, but since I had never used a thinkpad before, or tried setting up multiple monitors on any computers other than my own, I didn't bother replying w/ information that I had a small uncertainty on....

Just received my t60 - d6u model. I am waiting for the adv mini dock to arrive. I will post my findings once I try to hook up an external monitor via dvi - apple cinema display 20-inch.

It works just fine. I've used mine several times with the internal display and a projector connected to the VGA port.

For what it is worth my t60 2623-D6U with x1300 ATI card worked out-of-the-box when connecting to an Apple Cinema Display - 20" at the native resolution 1680x1050 via the advanced mini docks DVI port. Looks awesome... No issues whatsoever...

I thought I would post this resolution as I have spent a lot of time looking for the same info....
