Every Time I undock my T60 it freezes up and I must hold the power button down to shut down. Does anyone else have this problem or know what could be going on? I have only had the dock for about three weeks and at first this didn't happen it just started happening this past week.

Are you using the Easy Eject Utility before undocking?

There's a known electrostatic discharge issue, and IBM will send you some rubber caps to put on the outside posts of your docking station. I can't recall the part number or kbase #, but it's posted in the forums here if you do a search.

I had the same problem and have not had it since.

Thanks for the link. Upon further inspection turns out my dock has the rubber caps on it already, I just purchased it a few weeks back so that maybe why.

Also I did not have the easy eject utility installed, I went ahead and installed it, ejected with fn+F9 and I did not have the problem. The fact that I did not have easy eject installed could have been the problem, hopefully this solves it. Thanks for the help everyone

So the Easy Eject Utility took care of it like I mentioned, right? Good to hear. :)

So I think, I undocked my system without it locking up put into sleep mode and about 5 minutes after I woke it up, it froze, and needed to be rebooted. I'm not sure if this was just a coincidence or b/c of the docking issue, I do some more checks later and post the results.

There are a couple of hotfixes Lenovo released that deal with standby issues too if I'm remembering correctly.

I think everything is working alright now, haven't noticed anything strange happening since I installed easy eject utility besides that one instance, hopefully that will be it.
