I've had my thinkpad now for a week and Catalyst Control Center is already giving me problems. When I'm running on battery it thinks I'm still plugged in and thus clocks the x1400 to full clock speed. Then when I change the powerplay settings to optimal battery when plugged in it still reads at full speed in the info section.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix or deal with this?

    Thanks alot all.
