This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     T60 Microphone does not work.

    My T60's microphone stopped working recently. It does not work with gmail chat, with sound recorder, with anything! Does anybody have any suggestions on how to proceed? One thing I was going to try to do was disable the microphone driver (via the sound properties) and then re-enable it. Now I don't know how to get it back. Any suggestions?

    I'm not trying to threadjack... but do all thinkpads come with a built in microphone?
