For some reason ..I cant open any folders on my laptop...(t60)..after i downloaded rapidown..
But i can play games and launch all applications just fine..

This is wut happens when i try opening a folder...It loads for a few seconds, which is a bit long, and than everything on the screen dissapears besides my background, and than my icons and all that stuff come back after a second. The folder never comes up though, which it's obviously suppose to do....

(Everythings except for the folders are working fine..)

    please help..

I would run may different virus scans, run registry cleaners and try to get rid of the problem that way. If worst comes to worst, go into safe mode and then transfer all of your vital data to an external hard drive and then do a reformat or restore depending which is more suitable for you. Hope this helps.

maybe explorer.exe crashes and then loads back again? I dont know what is "rapidown" but try to disable some software and determine which software/application causes problems.

    explorer.exe is corrupted?

That is some major viruses then...

    Easiest way, format and reinstall.

Cant risk it being corrupted again if you just somehow restore that one file.

Because, explorer.exe is pretty much the visual GUI for windows to show you everything. Without it, you cant see a single window, the start menu, etc.
