I have a T60 (1951-CTO specifically) with 1 gig of RAM. I'd like to upgrade; the documentation says that it is limited to addressing 3 gigs by the intel 945 chipset. So, I'd like to add a single 2G DIMM; do those work in the T60?

I would just have assumed yes but I was using the memory compatibility thingy on NewEgg and it only showed me 1G DIMMs when I put in my model number. Does anyone have good experience using 2G DIMMS in a T60?

    Thanks!
