I am considering buying T60 wide screen 15.4 WSXGA+TFT, customized CTO from directly lenovo.
Is there anyone who bought CTO verion T60 from them directly?
Would you confirm which screen you have, either LG or Samsung?
    Thanks in advance

While I didn't even on prebuilts the screen is variable. You may be able to figure it out off the parts list (I had ordered a CTO of this type before canceling it for a good deal at buy.com) but I'm not certain. The number on my former order (see T60 ws screen page 3 I think) doesn't seem to match what I would expect for a FRU. I got the LG on the one from buy.com but many people got the Samsung.

I bought a CTO T60 15.4" WSXGA+ on Feb. 6th and since shipping have confirmed that I have an LG screen. Acaurora (another member) also ordered a CTO from Lenovo and that shipped the same day as mine and also has an LG screen. However, I don't think that ALL of the CTO's from Lenovo are LG, if that's the information you're looking for; like drwho said, it's variable and you just have to see what you get.

    Thanks for your quick reply.
your post brought up one more question.
It seems you know part number as the shipping has confirmed.
    Is it right?
Then, is there any spot you can cancel it?
If not, what is their return policy for CTO version?
since some manufacture does not offer return for CTO one.
Please drop some your words for me.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, once it ships, you'll get a serial number for your build. By using the serial number and model number, you can do a parts lookup that will give you specific parts (FRU#'s) that your computer has. Here's a link to another thread that has some more information.

I don't think you can cancel it after it's been shipped, and I don't know Lenovo's return policy. However, I do recall that some people sent it back without opening it (their systems were 2 or more months delayed and they opted to buy another system) and had no consequences. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though.
