I read on another forum that the T60's have high GPU temperatures (in the high 80's or 90's) even when the computer is sitting idle.

What are your guys' experiences in this regard?

What is your GPU is it X1400 or is it the FireGL v5200/v5250?

I just placed an order for a T60p with FireGl v5250. Now that I came across that GPU temperature thread on that other forum, I am a bit concerned.

On the other thread, both x1400 or FireGL v5200 seem to have high GPU temperatures.

The laptops (Especially things like Thinkpads) go through many stress tests before being released. So if your temps are around the numbers posted there you shouldn't be much concerned. ;)
