    Will this graphics card support the new Vista Aero reqs?

    T60 graphics: Intel graphics media accelerator 950

    # Windows Aero requires:

    o Supports a WDDM Driver.
    o Supports Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware.
    o Supports 32 bits per pixel.
    * Adequate graphics memory.
    o 64 MB of graphics memory to support a single monitor less than 1,310,720 pixels
    o 128 MB of graphics memory to support a single monitor at resolutions from 1,310,720 to 2,304,000 pixels
    o 256 MB of graphics memory to support a single monitor at resolutions higher than 2,304,000 pixels
    o Meets graphics memory bandwidth requirements, as assessed by Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor running on Windows XP

    How about the 256 MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M with TurboCache?

    I'm on the fence w/a T60 and D620....leaning towards the T60.

    The Nvidia card will blow the Intel card out of the water. There is no comparison. So if the intel card can run vista, Nvidia will have no problem.

    I think either will run Vista fine. I had the Vista Beta installed on my T42. I personally thought the transparent(glass) effect was rather annoying as it made things difficult to read.

    since Vista is not finalized, it's all speculation at this point. Also, running Vista does not necessarily include using the Aero Glass effects - the OS can run without them.
