    T60 and Z61 are using same ultrabay?

    I believe the T60 and the Z61t share the same bay. The Z61m has the same bay as the R series.

    Great. I just ordered a T60 with an extra ultrabay combo (by accident). Also can find a blank Z61t ( T7200, 1440x900 14in, with no memory, no HD, open bay) for $780. Maybe I can built a Z61t by using the extra combo and buying 1G memory and 7k100 HD for another $200.

    Seems a good deal.

    I'd say it is highly unlikely. Even if you could you are not going to save any money. The are offering a bunch of free upgrades on the T60 over on Lenovo's site making them somewhat reasonable if you can cancel your order.

    You get it cheaper on Lenovo's site though you might have to wait a bit.
